I just took a look at the trades section, the layout of showing the magazine then what you traded it for, so on and, so on is cool (gave an inspirational feeling like when I read about the guy that eventully traded a red paperclip for a house). I appreciate what you wrote about me and, the painting is wonderful many of our guests have given it compliments! I hope you can trade the DVDs for some good stuff. Thank you again, I wish the best of luck to you!

Love your idea. How do you determine something's worth?

Thank you for contacting me with such a great question!
One of the hardest parts of what I am doing is deciding what to trade for. I need to make trades based on what will have the greatest appeal to others so that I can continue trading up. The problem is, what appeals to me may not appeal to others and vice versa.
So to answer your question...it is very subjective...nebulous...and just a gut feeling.

1. A treat to meet Randy (he's a really nice guy).
2. A treat for Randy to come here and hopefully to return to see our trains run.
3. A treat for my kids next Christmas when they receive the magazines and for me to get rid of a few things. | | | | | |
